Personal energy
manager
An "all-inclusive" service of sorts. The average median salary for an energy manager in the United States as of late November, 2017 was nearly $100K/year, plus benefits. Most small to medium size companies cannot afford to have a person in this type of position. So, the responsibilities of buying power, making the right decisions as they relate to energy management and keeping up with the ever changing regulations, policies and news of the deregulated power markets will typically fall on the shoulders of someone in general procurement, operations and/or accounting. Who has the bandwidth to keep up with all of that (on top of the 100 other things they have to do)? This highly sought after service will be offered to all clients on a subscription basis once a detailed "scope of service" is provided and a time frame is set. This service can include the following but is not all inclusive: (energy project management, new construction power management, monthly bill audit, peak load shaving assessment, management of power vendor relations/issues/questions, RFP process management, etc)
